Since we opened over a year ago we have received some high praise, but none quite so glowing as Dave Nixon’s weekend visit when he told me:

• Goodbye Blue Monday is the best bar in New Zealand (and he has visited a few)
• Future aliens will use this blog as a study on life in the early 21st Century
• He’s not gay but he has a slight mancrush on Marlon Williams of Unfaithful Ways fame

I really just put this here because I am such a big fan of Nixon and know that he will read this (and so will Burrows).
