Last night’s Club Sandwich was a resounding success with a 300% increase in numbers from last month. The night is run by Tally Ho! Magazine and the idea is that they provide the bread and the DJs and people show up with sandwich fillings and buy cheap beer and play Foosball.

I think it was Jesus that said “Give an emo a sandwicgh and he’ll have a sandwich. But teach an emo to make a sandwich and he will always have sandwiches…”

Our Tuesday night post-openings art forums are also going well with two real artists showing up. Sadly I hadn’t arranged a topic and the local artists saw straight through my “what is art” question. Instead we all agreed that the way of the future for career-artists is $200 paintings of pukekos to be sold in cafes.

Next week’s topic is still to be decided and whoever comes up with the most prentious one wins a beer.
