I know both fans of this blog will find this hard to believe but I have received a number of criticisms.
“Please refrain from using phrases like ‘good cock is hard to find’, I like to show my friends and this is going too far.” – Winston Peters
“Please remove that text you wrote about me, if my mum saw it she would be mortified.” – Former Bachelor of the Month
“You are never allowed to talk about me again, just pretend I don’t exist. You have to be careful blogging about people without their permission or you’re no better than that wanker Jonathan Phillips.” – Anonymous Brother
“Do you think taking photos of poos etc. glorifies that sort of behavior and will encourage people to do outrageous things so that they can get on the blog?” – Local Celebrity
Anyway… One – that I have decided is valid – is that it deals too much with the past and not enough with the future. As such, I will attempt to inform you when things are coming up that you should attend.
For a starter, you should all come down tomorrow night (Friday) and check out Minisnap, who are like the Bats but with Marcus instead of Robert Scott.
You may recognise their music from the fact that we constantly play them in the bar.
Being of the older set, they will actually be starting at 10pm so that they can be home in bed by midnight. If you haven’t already seen them, then come down and check out one of Christchurch’s best groups.

Also, this weekend, Poplar Lanes are hosting the Taste Jazz/Taste Blues festival with loads of awesome live entertainment from 11am ’til 4pm each day. To get into the spirit of things we will be open during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
So, if you’re wandering round, wondering what to do, why not come down and see what’s happening…
