I’m sorry I haven’t written in a while, my fans (both of them) have had nothing to read when they should be doing real work.

When we set thbar up, we did so with the intention of being the only place to go on a Monday night. Well, with Theology on Tap and an Undercurrents gig last night, we owned Monday night in this city.

Sir Paul Reeves spoke at 6pm and what impressed me most was how someone who was the Establishment could seem so Antiestablishment. These events are coming along really well and are a good chance to get a bit of healthy debate going.

The Undercurrents also came along and played a sweet gig. Much quieter than normal and so beautifully thrown together. For what it’s worth, I reckon this format will see them become superstars.

So, remember, there’s only one place that gets rid of your Monday blues…
