What a busy Monday. First Theology on Tap with Rod Oram down to talk about the economy and where we see ourselves in the future. It was inspirational stuff and was really nice to see this type of dialogue happening in our bar. It is finally starting to become the third space that we had imagined when we set it up.
Then Monday Machine played a wildly fluctuating set ranging between 100% audience approval and 0%. These guys are going to start jamming here every Monday so come down and check them out.
Finally the D&A after party for their fashion show. About 100 people jamming the place up on a Monday night. Some people have complained that we don’t do drink specials, so in the spirit of things we offered a 1/4 of a rigger of beer we confiscated on Saturday night for 50c. And would you believe we found a taker.
Phew! These Monday nights are making me tired on Tuesdays.
